Alda Rogers Mcfalls

Asheville - Alda Marie McFalls, 66, of 31 Ocala Street, died Saturday May 17, 2003 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a member of Light of Life World Outreach Center and the daughter of the late Wayne William and Annie Mae Henderson Rogers. Mrs. McFalls was the wife of the late Burnice Gordon McFalls and was also preceded in death by her brother, David Eugene Rogers. Surviving are her daughters, Rhonda Ashley and husband, Eric of Saluda, Teresa Wilson of Fairview and Vanessa Hitch and husband, John of Dana; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Radford and husband, H.B. of Weaverville, Georgia Harris of Swannanoa and Debra Shelton of Asheville and her dog and life friend, Taz McFalls. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Angell officiating. Burial will be in Elk Mountain Cemetery.
