Agnes Robinson

Asheville - Agnes Elizabeth Moore Robinson, 91 passed away peacefully at her home on Brevard Road Saturday January 10, 2009. A native of Henderson County, she lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was the oldest member of the Asheville Gospel Chapel. She had been the secretary for the Tom Robinson Plumbing Co. she had also been a Brownie and Girl Scout leader for many years and had run a child day care center out of her home for several years. She was a daughter of the late William L. and Vinnie Moore and the wife of the late Thomas Calvin Robinson. She was also preceded in death by 9 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Reynolds and husband Don of Asheville and Carol Robinson of Asheville. They will remember her as a loving mother and an avid gardener. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Bailey and Rev. Dr. J.L. Innes officiating. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
