Agnes Marie Lunsford

Asheville - Agnes Marie Worley Lunsford, 85, died Sunday June 15, 2003 at the Aston Park Health Care Center following a period of declining health. A native of Madison County, she resided in Buncombe County since 1950. She was a homemaker, formerly employed by Mars Manufacturing Co. as an inspector and attended Mountain View Church. She was a daughter of the late Chester and Allie Worley and the wife of Paul McKinley Lunsford who died in April of 1989. Surviving are her sisters, Grace Ballew of West Asheville and Cumie Marler of Marshall; brothers, Clyde Worley of Asheville and Arlin Worley of Taylor Michigan and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Robert E. Harris and Rev. Homer Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
