Ada Meadows

Marshall Ada Meadows, 87, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Brian Center of Weaverville. She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, a homemaker, and was a member of Union Baptist Church. Miss Meadows was a daughter of the late Edd Levi and Emmagene Teague Meadows and was also preceded in death by her sister, Marie Meadows Wells (Zeb) and nephew, David Lyday. Surviving are her sister, Glennia Meadows Lyday (Ronnie); brothers, John Troy Meadows (Betty) and Harry Meadows; niece, Mary Meadows Mangum (Reid) and nephew, Johnny Meadows. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 18, 2016 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Shetley officiating. The family would like to express a heartfelt Thank You to Miss Meadows friends and neighbors, as well as the staff at the Brian Center of Weaverville for the love, care and attention she received during her stay.
