Wilma Dean Wilson

Asheville Wilma Dean Wilson, 98, of 213 Richmond Hill Drive, WNC Baptist Home, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Asheville, she was a beautician with most of her years at the Battery Park Hotel. She was a founding member of the First Baptist Church of Asheville. Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late Clifton Hardy Dean and Docia Martin Dean and the wife of the late Lon Wagner and the late Harvey Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James C. Dean formerly of Spartanburg, SC and sister, Frances Dean Foster formerly of Asheville. Surviving are her brother, Robert B. Dean of Taylors, SC, several nieces and nephews; step grandsons, Scott Wagner and Joe Wagner and step granddaughter, Jean Cole of Arden. A brief graveside service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Green Hills Cemetery.
