William Roy Carter

William Roy Carter, 75, known to many as Uncle Bill went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He was a man with a big heart who loved many, as many loved him. He was the anchor of his family and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Carter; mother, Katherine Carter; sister, Margaret Morgan; and brother, Chris Felice. Those he leaves to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Mary Burnette Carter; brothers: Richard Carter, Robert Carter, and Jack Carter; sisters: Mary Armstrong, Teresa James, and Dianne Howell; special nieces: Delaine Dills, Sherry Blissett, and Jennifer Glass who he loved beyond measure. Bill had many nieces and nephews who loved and honored him; he also leaves behind his special cat, Sam. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
