William E. Brokaw

Maryville, TN – William E. Brokaw, 67, born in Zanesville, Ohio, passed from this life to sleeping in God’s care on January 3rd, 2020 in Maryville, TN surrounded by his family. William was a son of the late William and Ella Brokaw. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherra Brokaw, and their combined family: Jason Brokaw (Lori, Lillian, and Calvin), Terissa Miller (Steve, Miles, and Paige), Tonya Oxford (Adam), Adam Hiltner (Catherine, Everly, Keaver, and Winston), and Kaylin Lang (Jason, and Finnegan); and sister, Patricia Brokaw Moore. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Shepherd Memorial Park with Military Honors provided by the North Carolina National Guard Honor Guard. Family and friends will travel in procession from Anders-Rice Funeral Home to the cemetery, leaving at 10:15 AM Saturday. A celebration of William’s life will be held at 3 PM Saturday at Mt. Pisgah Academy Church, 75 Academy Dr., Candler, NC 28715, with Pastor Jonathan Michael officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
