William Cornelius "Bill" Connelly

Asheville - William Bill Cornelius Connelly, 87, of 445-A Chunns Cove Rd. died Sunday, December 29, 2002 at Mission St. Josephs Health System. A native of Passaic, NJ, he had resided in Buncombe County since 1988. He was the son of the late William and Trina Warner Connelly and the husband of the late Alice Frances Vandersande Connelly who died in 1989. Surviving are his son, Thom Connelly of the home; daughter, Patricia Pellegrino and husband John of Morristownship, NJ; grandchildren, Daniel and Stephen Pellegrino; sister, Cora Reinhardt of Fairlawn, NJ; brother, Babe Connelly of Glen Rock, NJ. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Melton officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 PM Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
