Willa Edna Rawls Deaver

Willa Edna Rawls Deaver, 101, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Deaver was a graduate of Lee Edwards High School and A-B Technical Community College. She served as the secretary of the NC Industries for the Blind for over 50 years, and was a charter member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Jack Mickey Garland Deaver. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in Piney Mountain UMC Cemetery.
