Wanda June Gregory

Wanda June Smith Gregory, 71, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her home. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Bryant Ballew Smith and Stella Gibson Cothran Smith. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dale Woodson who died November 25, 2014. Surviving are her husband, Herbert Herman Gregory, Sr. of the home; son, Herbert Gregory, Jr. of Asheville; grandchildren, Jessie Gregory and Nathan Line; great granddaughter, Addison Begley; sisters, Reba Smith of California and Annabell Simmons of Hickory and nieces & nephew, Donna Kopp, Vickie Ingle and Larry Simmons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Eblen Charities, 50 Westgate Parkway, Asheville, NC 28806. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
