Tony Mark Weese

Tony Mark Weese, 57, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016 at his residence. Tony was raised and lived most of his life in Rutherford County, NC. He was a son of Mary Jo Justice (Larry Justice) of Henrietta and the late Jimmie Norris Weese. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Holly Butler. Tony was a member of Gospel Tabernacle. His life passion was serving Jesus Christ, and writing and performing Christian and Gospel Music with his wife Brenda. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Brenda Miller Weese; sisters: Sharon Butler and her husband Rev. Scott Butler of Forest City, and Kay McKinney of Henrietta; brother, James Nugi Weese and his wife Lisa of Mooresboro; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Friday, May 27, 2016 at Gospel Tabernacle, 16 Brickyard Road, Asheville, with Pastor Jerry Hensley and Rev. Scott Butler officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 till 9 PM at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
