Terry Lee Haney

Asheville Terry Lee Haney, 54, of 57 Westgate Road, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he had worked for Townhouse Bakeries for 26 years, as well as with several other restaurants in the West Asheville area. Terry was the son of Pauline Jenkins Haney of Asheville and the late James Haney. In addition to his mother, surviving are his daughter, Terry Renee Haney; brother, Bill Haney and wife Melanie; nephews: Clint and James Haney; nieces: Beth Robinson and Cynthia Burgess; several cousins, including: Mike, Aaron, Mark and Dale Jenkins; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM noon Thursday at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Archie Fulkerson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Terrys mother, Pauline Haney, 57 Westgate Road, Asheville, NC 28806, to assist with funeral expenses.
