Sylvia "Woody" Angel

Mills River Sylvia Lynne Woody Eagle Angel of Mills River, NC was born April 28, 1950 and died November 21, 2018. She was the daughter of Lucille Grant Eagle and the late Clyde Odell Eagle. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, K. Joe Eagle; sister, Reva L. Eagle; aunt, Sally Andreotta; uncle, Paul Ray; numerous very special cousins and a host of friends. She was in the first graduating class in North Carolina for Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and enjoyed working in that field for 37 years. Very special thanks to the amazing and loving staff at Grace Hematology and Oncology and Forge Mountain Medicine. The funeral, officiated by Rev. Debra Gaddy and Rev. Daniel Gaddy, will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Anders-Rice Funeral Home in Asheville, with visitation immediately following the service.
