Steven Ronald Clemmons

Asheville - Steven Ronald Clemmons, 61, of 1B Norton Drive, passed away Friday April 3, 2009 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of Betty Jean Yoder Clemmons of Leicester and the late Jake Nelson Clemmons and the husband of the late Carolyn Dean Harper Clemmons. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Robert Clemmons. Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughters, Alicia Clemmons of Woodfin and Stephanie Clemmons of Morganton; son, Steven Kyle Clemmons of Woodfin; sisters, Linda Clemmons of Asheville, Brenda Rogers and husband W.C. of Leicester, Jeanette Roberson and husband Randy of Asheville, Pamela Hutchinson and husband Roger of Canton, Becky Caldwell and husband Ronnie of Leicester and Patricia Justice and husband Carl of Asheville and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Walker officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
