Stacy Gassaway

Asheville Stacy Diana Gassaway, 47, of 25 Cherokee Road, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the St Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of Wanda Faye Gassaway of the home and the late Silas Pender Blankenship. Surviving in addition to her mother are her half brother, Mark Blankenship of Asheville, her little girl Casey (her dog), and several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Memorial services will be held at 5 PM Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Biltmore Church of God with Rev. Dale Whitson officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the church.
