Shirley Sue Biggs Parham

Shirley Sue Biggs Parham, 79, passed away on December 20, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood, SC. A resident, for the past 2 years, of Ware Shoals, SC, and formerly of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Lee V. and Jettie Pack Manley Biggs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Parham; sister, Louise Biggs Woodward; and brother, James Biggs. Mrs. Parham was a class of 1954 graduate of Lee H. Edwards High School, Asheville, she retired from Mission St. Joseph Health Systems and later worked with Dr. C. Deaton Maddox. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Crawford and her husband Mark of Laurens County, SC; grandchildren: Jennifer Blakley and her husband Scott of the home, Mark Crawford, Jr and his wife Peggy of Ware Shoals, SC, and Timothy Crawford and his wife Brandi of Ware Shoals, SC; 10 great grandchildren; niece, Susie Profitt and her husband David of Charlottesville, VA; and by her loving dog, Bella. Private graveside services will be held at Green Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
