Shawny Kay Hutto

Candler, NC Shawny Kay Reece Hutto, 48, of 198-A Warren Creek Road, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston Salem. A native of Santa Clara, CA, she formerly had served as a Prison Guard at the Tennessee State Penitentiary in Whiteville, TN where she served as Lieutenant and was the daughter of Robert Bob Reece and his wife, Sharon of Bakersfield, CA and the late Shirley Diane Ness Reece. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jaime Epperson. Surviving in addition to her father are her husband whom she married October 20, 2006, Flint McKay Hutto of the home; step daughters, Heather Hutto of Somerville, TN and Jessica Hutto of Bolivar, TN and brother, Kevin Reece of Ashland, MS. Memorial services will be held in Tennessee at a later date.
