Scott Lang Stephens

Scott Lang Stephens, 55, a native of Lakeland, FL and resident of Asheville since 1974, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Scott was born on January 17, 1958, to JoAnn Hussey Stephens and Jay Walter Stephens. In addition to his parents he is survived a brother, Mark J. Stephens of Asheville; a sister, Jayne B. Stephens of Asheville; a nephew, Spencer of Indiana; a niece, Caitlyn of Portsmouth, VA; and a partner, Jeanette Syprezak. Scott was recognized by the Asheville Historical Society for his part in restoration of homes in the Montford area. A memorial service and internment will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
