Sarah Elizabeth Robinson

Asheville - Sarah Elizabeth Harwood Robinson, 103, formerly of 40 Wellington Drive, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Emerald Ridge Health and Rehab Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late James and Nancy Cudd Harwood, and the wife of the late Claude S. Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was also preceded in death by her brother, Dan Harwood. Surviving are her sisters: Ruth Alexander and Alice Miller, both of Asheville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Brockwell officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 2 - 3:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
