Sandi Thomas

Candler Sandra Sandi Ratcliff Thomas, 63, of 52 Hubbard Lane passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she attended North Buncombe High School and was formerly employed with Mission Hospital. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She was the daughter of Maxine Buckner Ratcliff and the late Howell Warren Ratcliff and wife of the late Lonnie Thomas who died September 19, 2007. Surviving in addition to her mother are her daughter, Autumn Thomas of the home; son, R. Burke Williams and wife Melissa and granddaughters, Anna Marie Williams and Taylor Grace Williams. A memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Edgewood Baptist Church, Candler. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Autumn Thomas Fund, C/o SunTrust Bank, 159 Smoky Park Hwy, Asheville, N.C. 28806.
