Sadie Jane Sprinkle

Asheville Sadie Jane Davis Sprinkle, 97, formerly of the Asheville Terrace Apartments, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Brian Center of Weaverville. Mrs. Sprinkle was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a member of Oakley Baptist Church. Mrs. Sprinkle was a daughter of the late Bascombe Alexander and Eva Mundy Davis and was the wife of Fred Jackson West who died July 15, 1970 and Rev. Joseph Andrew Sprinkle who died February 16, 1997. Surviving are her sister, Betty Boyd; brother, Bascombe Maurice Davis; step son, Rev. Larry Sprinkle all of Asheville and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Gayle Brown officiating.
