Ruth E. Robinson

Candler – Ruth Elizabeth Davis Robinson, 78, of 12 Electra Drive, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Buncombe County, she retired from Walmart and was a member of CarePartner’s P.A.C.E. Mrs. Robinson was a daughter of the late Henry Valley Davis and Mary Lee Robbins Davis. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lucy Lee Smith and brother, Charles Davis. Surviving are her husband, David William Robinson, Sr.; children, Gary Lee Davis, Melinda Carol Teesateskie and Cynthia Anne Robinson; 5 grandchildren, including Tiffany and Alexandra, whom she raised as her own; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Henrietta Crowder; brother, Rev. Ronnie Hixon and step sons, David Robinson, Jr. and Dale Robinson. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 6, 2020 at Green Hills Cemetery, with Rev. Ronnie Hixon officiating and Brenda Holbrook bringing her message in music. Friends and family may visit from 2 to 4 Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
