Ruth Browning

ASHEVILLE Ruth Katherine Bryson Browning, 84, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired from Gateway Hallmark and was a member of Calvary Baptist Chuch. Mrs. Browning was the daughter of the late Vinson Vick and Jessie Eva McElroy Bryson and wife of the late Dalvert Daven Browning. She was also preceded in death by her son, Perry Bryson Browning. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Sue Farlow and husband Bruce of Asheville; granddaughter, Cathy Lynn Harrison and husband Bryan; grandson, Michael Brent Farlow and wife Tracy; six great grandchildren and one great great grandson.. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
