Ruby Lee Davis

Asheville - Ruby Lee Smathers Davis, 80, died Thursday - October 6, 2005 at St. Josephs Hospital after an extended illness. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Clifford Samuel and Zora Bell Franks Smathers, she was the mother of 4 children. Surviving are 1 daughter; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren 2 brothers and 7 sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Piney Mt. United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Enoch Ball, Jr. officiating.
