Roy Weldon Parham

Asheville - Roy Weldon Parham, 68, of 301 Aurora Vista Dr. died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003 at Mission St. Josephs Health System. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Conley and Pearl Meadows Parham and was the husband of the late Kathleen Revis Parham who died in 2000. Surviving are his sons, David Parham and wife Donna and Bruce Parham, all of Asheville; daughters, Wanda Case and Tammy Banks, both of Asheville; sisters, Diane Owenby of Leicester and Irene Williams of Durham; granddaughters, Kathy Case, Kaylyn Banks, Olivia Hart, Andrea Hart, and Lana Walker; step granddaughters, Kimberly Hager, Jennifer and Amanda Hager. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Monday in Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Rev. Truman Revis officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
