Rosa Lee Dockery

Asheville Rosa Lee Hodge Dockery, 80, went to be with her Lord Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Care Partners John F. Keever, Jr. Hospice Solace Center. A native of Swain County, Ms. Dockery had resided in Buncombe County for most of her life. She was formerly employed as an Inspector with Mars Manufacturing Company, as well as with Winn-Dixie Supermarkets, in their Produce Department. She was a member of Woodfin Baptist Church. Ms. Dockery was the daughter of the late William and Betty Franklin Hodge. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Maybelle Reed and special brother-in-law, Carl, Minnie Frady, and Virgie Gosnell; and brothers: Charlie, David and Dallas Hodge. Surviving are her daughter, Janet Leigh Dockery; four grandchildren: Chris Williams, Fallon Suttles, Whitley Suttles, and Brianna Lamont; three great-grandchildren: Connor, Duncan, and Isyis; brother, Bobby Hodge; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
