Ronald Dale "Ronnie" Bishop

Asheville - Ronald Dale Ronnie Bishop, 46, of 21 Carrier Street, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals following an extended illness. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of Mary Lou Johnston Carter of Asheville, and the late Gordon Benjamin Bishop, Jr. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, George Carter. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter: Candice Bishop; step-sons: Chris and Bo Ingle; brothers: Phil and Bennie Bishop and Brian Carter; sister, Cynthia Herron; two grandchildren, 6 nephews, 3 nieces and 1 great-nephew. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Bishop family with arrangements.
