Roger Dale Farmer

Asheville - Roger Dale Farmer, 62, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mr. Farmer retired as a Supervisor from the Budweiser Corp. He was loved by many, and will be greatly missed. Mr. Farmer was the son of Margaret Fortson Farmer and the late Willie E. Farmer. In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Cindy Stines Farmer; children: Brian Farmer, Michelle Cave, and Sammy Hensley; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters: Patsy Turner and Mitzi Fisher; brothers, Richard, Frank, Randy and Lynn Farmer; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with his brother, Richard Farmer, officiating. The family will receive friends following the services.
