Roberta "Bobbie" Huntley

Fairview Roberta Bobbie Huntley of 15 Huntley Cir. died unexpectedly Thursday June 30, 2005 at her home. A native of Buncombe County, she had lived in Norfolk, Va. for several years before returning to Buncombe County in the early 80s. She was a member of Cedar Mtn. Baptist Church and loved working with the children of the church. She was the owner and operator of Huntleys Fairview Storage. She was a daughter of the late Robert Wilkie and Ora Alverta Cauble Huntley and was also preceded in death by a brother, George Huntley. Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Huntley Spruill and husband Carl L. of Fairview; grandchildren, Matthew Robert Spruill serving with the U.S. Coast Guard in Elizabeth City and Sarah Estelle Spruill of Fairview; and Sister, Marjorie Rice of El Cajon, California. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at Cedar Mtn. Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Page officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the church.
