Robert Edward Siler

Asheville - Robert Edward Siler, 48, of 26 Rock Hill Place, passed away Monday, August 25, 2008 at his residence. A native of Wake County, he had resided in Asheville since 1972. He was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church of Raleigh. Mr. Siler was the son of E. L. and Barbara Siler of Asheville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tracy Siler, of the home; son, Zachary Siler, of the home; daughter, Jennifer Mathison of Mars Hill; sisters: Janet S. Brady and husband Willie of Zebulon and Dolores S. Aguilar and husband Oswaldo of Garland, TX; special friends: Kevin Taylor and Deward Beaver and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
