Robert Edward "Bobby" Evans

Asheville - Robert Edward Bobby Evans, 58, of 63 Brickyard Road died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was Owner and Operator of E & S Flooring Service, was a member of Aaron Baptist Church and attended Erwin H.S. He was a son of the late Alfred Edward and Ella Mae Browning Evans and was also preceded in death by sisters, Martha and Janice Evans. Surviving are his wife, Judy Penland Evans of the home; children, Terry Huntley and wife, Janie of Burnsville, Rodney Huntley and wife, Julie of Asheville, Trena King and husband, Stephen of Alexander, and Ginger Evans Snyder of Asheville; grandchildren, Miranda Snyder, Chase and Logan Huntley, and Marissa King; sisters, Dorothy Birchfield of Waynesville and Beulah Burleson of Orangeburg, S.C.; brothers, Harry Evans of Waynesville and Ronnie Evans of Asheville; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Daniel Stephenson officiating. Pallbearers will be J.C. McKinney, Stacey Snyder, Harold Ledford, Clyde Birchfield, Ronnie Ewart and Jerome Ellege. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home and at other times, the family will be at the residence.
