Robert Edmonds

Candler Robert Martin Edmonds, 69, of Candler, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mr. Edmonds worked as an Environmental Service Tech at the Charles George VA Hospital. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Edmonds was the son of the late James Reagan and Lillian Leona Morgan Edmonds. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Nelson and Nick Edmonds; and sister, Carolyn Joyce Melton. Surviving are his wife, Linda Calloway Edmonds; sons: Jeremy Edmonds and wife Belinda of Leicester, and Jeffrey Edmonds of Candler; granddaughter, Julie Moody; and brother, Jerry Edmonds. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Friday, November 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Chaplain Bryan Williams officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
