Robert Daniel Todd

Robert Daniel Todd, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident Buncombe County, he was the son of the late M.L. and Bonnie Todd. He was also preceded in death by his wife Cornelia H. Todd; and sisters: Margie Anderson, Jean Knapp, and Katie Kaylor. Mr. Todd was a Veteran of the US Army, and a member of Emmanuel Full Gospel Church. He retired from Square D after more than 30 years of service. Surviving are his daughter, Lori Caldwell and husband Brian of Leicester; grandchildren: Todd Rhodes, Amelia Buckner and husband Ronald, and Brianna Caldwell; sister, Bonnie Phillips of Asheville; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 28, 2016 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Woodby and Rev. David Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery with honors by the North Carolina National Guard Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home.
