Robert Dale "Robb" Ramsey

Canton - Robert Dale Robb Ramsey, 65, died Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Charlotte, NC. Having grown up in the Asheville area, he joined the military and had resided in many locations, retiring in Northern California and returning to Western North Carolina in 2000. He retired in 1981 from the U.S. Army following 20 years of service as a Nurse Supervisor and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was the son of the late William Lucias and Beulah Edna White Ramsey. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Sue McDermott Ramsey of the home. Graveside services will be held 11 am Monday at Mountain View Memorial Park, Black Mountain, with Rev. Kelley Jones officiating. The family will receive friends 4 pm Sunday, February 8, 2004, at the Plains United Methodist Church,Canton. Memorials may be made to Eliada Home for Children, P.O.
