Rev. Rocky Lane Harwood

Leicester - Rev. Rocky Lane Harwood, 48, of 35 Mary Rose Lane, died unexpectedly Saturday October 13, 2007 in Lawrence, KS A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the Vice President of Operations for Hulsing Hotels Inc. and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a son of Juanita May Blankenship Harwood of Leicester and the late Olen Glen Harwood. Surviving in addition to his mother are his brothers, Jeff Harwood and wife Debby of Barnardsville, Joseph Harwood and wife Dora of Asheville and Jack Harwood and wife Virneta of Blythewood, SC; sister, Debbie Harwood of Leicester and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs. Larry Coates and Jim Moore officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
