Rev. Randy Crane

Rev. Randy Crane, Uncle D., 54, went to be with his Lord with his family by his side Sunday, September 4, 2011 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Randy was a son of the late Rev. Perry ONeil Crane and Betty Jean Austin Crane. He was a member of Asheville Family Church where he served as Pastor of visitation. He was a musician, songwriter, minister and friend to many special people. Surviving are his wife, Linda Gail McCoy Crane, daughter, Carrie Jones Morgan and husband, Adam, grandchildren, Gaige, Brooklynn and Karaghan, sister, Rene McKinney and husband, David, brother, Ron O. Crane and wife, Karen and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Rolf Woodard and Rev. Louis Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of his sister Rene McKinney, 32 Bell Sprinkle Road, Weaverville.
