Asheville – Rev. Job Hamilton Everingham, 65, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 18, 2024.
A native of Toms River, NJ, he was a son of the late Carroll George Everingham and Hazel Virginia Moyer Everingham. He was also preceded in death by his brother, George Lloyd Everingham.
Job was strong in his faith and served his church, First Church of God, as the Associate Pastor. He also served through various ministries including mission trips to Trinidad, Hati, and Guyana; as well as being the Church Organist, and former Youth Pastor. He loved his family and enjoyed many trips to the beach.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Donna H. Everingham; children: Laura Everingham Payne and husband Franklin, Crystal Swann and husband Marc, and Melissa D. West and husband Anthony; grandchildren: Christian, Lily, Seth, Adian, James, Glen and wife Hanna, Emily, and Tyler; great-grandson, Hudson; sister, Virginia Ginny DeSanto; and a niece, nephews, extended family, and church family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Dedrick Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Steinel officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 PM at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
