Rachel Ogle

Asheville Rachel Crowder Ogle, 93, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Emerald Ridge Nursing Home. She was a native of Buncombe County and resident most of her life. Mrs. Ogle was a daughter of the late Jess L. and Pansy Mae Riddle Crowder, wife of the late Rial Ogle and also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She formerly had served as a Seamstress at Kellwood and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Ronnie Ogle and wife Carolyn of Westminster, SC and Rodney Dale Ogle and wife Barbara of Leicester; grandchildren, Chris Ogle (Rexanna), J.D. Ogle and Jason Ogle (Stephanie); 5 great grandchildren and sister, Martha Crowder Cooper. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Watkins officiating. The family will receive friends following the services Tuesday at the Pleasant Hill Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a Veterans Organization of ones choice.
