Phyllis (Heaton) King

Asheville Phyllis Elleen (Heaton) King, 58, of Asheville departed Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center to be at peace with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. A native and resident most of life of Henderson County. Ms. King was a daughter of Charlotte Etheleen Wall King of Hendersonville and the late Myles Bud Leonard King. Surviving in addition to her mother are her daughter, Pam Heaton Ledford & husband, Chris of Asheville; son, Greg Heaton & wife, Jennifer of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Colby, Dillon, Lauren, Graceson & Brayden; sister, Nancy King of Hendersonville; brothers, Ronnie King & wife, Faye of Hendersonville and Glen King & wife, Lynn of Jacksonville, FL; and several nephews. A celebration of her life will be held 6:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Rash and Rev. Davis Plemmons officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
