Peggy Felmet Guterwill

Peggy Felmet Guterwill, 82, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County she was a daughter of the late Don Carlos Felmet and Edna Austin Felmet. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Frances and Louise. Mrs. Guterwill was a beautician for 35 years and a member of Bell Methodist Church. Surviving are her children: Anita King and husband Mike of Leicester, and Don Guterwill (Leigh Thorup) of San Diego, CA; grandchildren: Josh Clifton and wife Ashley; great-granddaughter, Kaisley Mae; and niece, Rose Jones and husband Larry. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, October 15, 2017, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Chad Ellege officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to services on Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Ryan Ellege, Alan Sharpe, Bobby Demkow, Ethen Green, Mitch Mears, and Isaac Harwell.
