Asheville – Peggy Gail Duckett Loftis, 66, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Emerald Ridge Rehabilitation Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Loyd Thomas Duckett and Louise Evelyn Stanley Duckett. She was also preceded in death by a nephew, David Thomason. Surviving are her children: Wendy Ellen Holt and husband Robert of Asheville, Frank Wilburn Bray, Jr. of Rockmart, GA, and Jason Wayne Bray and wife Allyssa Sile Bray of Swannanoa; grandchildren: Holley Holt, Chase Holt, Ryan Holt, Connor Bray, Violet Bray, Skyler Johnston, Isaac Johnston, Aiden Brackett, and Mya Bray; sisters: Theresa Duckett of Black Mountain, and Joyce Duckett Thomason of Burnsville; and nephews: Michael Rogers,Donald Thomason, Chris Thomason, and Danny Thomason. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 27, 2019, at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
