Peggy Ann Deal

Woodfin - Peggy Ann Dockery Deal, 80, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Brian Center, Weaverville. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Irene Dockery. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles David Deal and her sister, Pat Dotson. Peggy was a member of the Asheville Freewill Baptist Church. Peggy is survived by her son, Jeff Deal and his wife, Karen, daughter, Janet Deal Macias and boyfriend, Bryan Womack, grandson, Jacob Deal, brother, Bill Dockery and wife, Virginia and several nieces and nephews The family will receive friends at Anders-Rice Funeral Home Friday, December 9 from 6-7:30 PM. Graveside services will be Saturday December 10 at 11:00 AM at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor David Gentry officiating and at other times the family will be at he home of her son, Jeff Deal. A special thank you for the love and care she received during her stay at the Brian Center, Weaverville. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
