Pauline Capps

AUSTIN, TX Pauline McCurry Capps, 94, of 11713 Knollpark Drive passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Pflugerville Care Center. A native of Unicoi, TN. She had resided in Western Carolina for most of her life prior to moving to Austin, TX in September 2002 and was a former member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ. Mrs. Capps was the daughter of the late Clayton C. McCurry and Dovie Hinson McCurry and wife of Jake Daniel Capps who died in January 1994. Surviving are her daughters, Renith Tacker & husband Robin Dale of Abilene, TX and Judy C. Weed & husband Maurice of Austin, TX; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Clayton McCurry & wife Portia of Fletcher and Ronnie McCurry of Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Jerry Senn and Jim Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday prior to services at the funeral home.
