Paul Wayne Sexton

Alexander - Paul Wayne Sexton, 61, of 127 Snelson Road, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals following an extended illness. A native of Henderson County, Mr. Sexton had lived most of his life in Buncombe County. he was a truck driver, and attended North Asheville Baptist Church. He was the son of Minuard and Helen Sexton of Alexander. In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Jeanette Hensley Sexton, of the home; daughter, Melissa Wilson of Alexander; granddaughters: Madeleine and Catrina Wilson, both of Alexander; brother, Robert Bob Sexton of Alexander; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Troy Rogers and Rev. Jim Dykes officiating. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of Robert Bob Sexton, 260 Snelson Road, Alexander.
