Fairview - Paul Stills, 82, of Fairview, passed away Sunday morning, April 23, 2006, at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center. Mr. Stills was born May 6, 1923 in Greeneville, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Maude Stills. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific and had lived and worked in Fairview since 1957. He was the co-founder and owner of Stills Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Ellen Lee Johnson, Zollie Gosnell, Kate Jenkins and Marcella Lambor and brothers; Enoch Stills and Wallace Stills and son-in-law Tom Roberson. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Novella Stills and their children; daughter, Edna Ruth Robertson; son, Steve Stills and wife Teresa Stills; daughter, Judy Stills; son, Don Stills and wife Susan Stills; son, Charles Stills; daughter, Linda Stills and son Kent Stills. He also leaves 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his brother, Cecil stills and sister Waneta Cutshall both of Tennessee. Known for his strength and integrity, Paul Stills was loved and respected by family, friends and neighbors. He will be deeply missed. The funeral service will be held at the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 25 at 11:00 A.M. There will be a private family burial. Services will be conducted by Rev. Chester Owenby and Rev. Giles Ed Robertson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. Monday evening. Honorary donations may be made to: Mountain Area Hospice, P.O.
