Pat Hollyfield

Asheville - Patricia Ann Pat Hollyfield, 64, of Arrowhead Apartments, 100 Cherrio Lane, Apartment B-40, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2007 at her residence. A native of Buncombe County, she was a retired chef. She was a member of Hot Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Hot Springs. She was the daughter of the late William Red Gunther and Lillian Lee Ann Taylor Hensley. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Joseph Case, Sr. and Jack Vernon Hollyfield. Surviving are her sons: William Joseph Joey Case, Jr., Anthony Tony Case, and Jesse Butch Case and wife Patty, all of Asheville; grandson, William Joseph Little Joey Case, III of Asheville; sisters: Diane McKinney of Asheville and Remona Hensley of Atlanta, GA; brother, Robert Hensley of Atlanta; caretaker, Sharon Kennedy of Asheville; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 6 PM Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Arrowood officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
