Norma Snyder

Candler - Norma Sue Rayfield Snyder, age 75, of 194 Big Cove Road, went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 21, 2011 at her residence. A native of Buncombe County, Norma retired following 33 years of service with the Asheville Citizen-Times as an Obituary Columnist. She was the daughter of the late Donald Woodrow Rayfield and Oma Mae Ricker Rayfield. Surviving are her daughter, Catherine Suzanne Sparks and husband Douglas of Knoxville, TN; son, Steve Snyder and Ann Marie Chevrette of Candler; grandchildren: Cynthia Suzanne Sparks, Stephanie Suzanne Snyder, Caroline Michelle Sparks, and Christopher Stephen Snyder; and sister, Martha Ann Zoerner.
