Nell B. Smith

Cartersville, Ga - Nell B. Smith, 85, formerly of 71 Center Road, Cartersville, Ga., passed away Monday, February 7, 2005 at the Roswell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Roswell, Ga. Mrs. Smith was born May 24, 1919 in Buncombe County and the daughter of the late George W. Boyd and Cora R. Fisher Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy Edward Smith; three brothers, William, Dewey and McKinley Boyd and sister, Arlena Harper. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Pat and Winston North of Roswell, Ga.; grandchildren, Timothy and Robin North of Woodstock, Ga., Tammy and Keith Christian and Todd and Missy North all of Canton, Ga.; great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kaleb and Kullen Christian, Alex, Daniel, Sarah and Amanda North; nephews, Bruce, Bob, Donald, Kenneth and ONeal Boyd and niece, Phyllis Osborne. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ebb Jenkins officiating.. The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick- Jennings Funeral Home in Cartersville, Ga. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
