Mildred Worrill "Millie" Teague

ASHEVILLE Mildred Millie Worrill Teague, 90, of 100 Riceville Rd. passed away Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Laurels at Summit Ridge. A native of Columbia, SC she had resided in Asheville most of her life and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Teague retired in 1979 following 10 years of service with Square D and formerly employed as the Fountain Manager at Eckerds Drug Store at K-Mart Patton Avenue. She was a daughter of the late Robert Paul and Annie Berry Worrill and the wife of the late Robert Edward Lee Teague. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Surviving are her daughters, Judy Greene and Cathy Herrick both of Chattanooga, TN; sons, Robert L. Teague, David H. Teague and James E. Teague all of Asheville; sisters, Ruby Owens of Ware Shoales, SC and Ruth Poteete of Asheville; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Mr. Robert L. Teague and Chaplain George Holley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
