Mildred I. Powell

Fletcher Mildred Midge Ingle Powell, 73, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the St Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native and resident most of her life of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Hillary Julius Ingle and Mary Eloise McHone Ingle. She was also preceded in death by her twin brothers, Jack and Jerry Ingle and brother, Jim Ingle. Surviving are her husband whom she married October 17, 1959, Clarence Edward Powell of the home; daughters, Kimberly Powell Anderson, Vicki Powell West and husband Paul and Stephanie Powell Gasperson and husband Mike all of Fletcher; grandchildren, Kirsten Edward Powell and companion Kourtney Moreland, Brian Keith Camp and wife Michaela, Brandon Charles West, Ryan Brently West and Lauren Elizabeth Garland; great grandchildren, Kamdyn Zayne Powell and McKenna Cheree Camp; sister, Barbara Ingle Carroll of Florida; brothers, Donald Ingle of Gastonia, NC and Harry Ingle of Alabama and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Skyland First Baptist Church-Family Life Center, 2115 Hendersonville Rd, Skyland, NC 28776, with her lifelong friend, Bill Ressler officiating.
